INSTALLATIONS | |
DISCLAIMER | |
If unfamiliar with a product, always perform a bond test. Simply spread a small area of adhesive and install the desired floor covering into the adhesive to ensure the desired bond is achieved. ***
After surface preparation, spread adhesive using recommended trowel or roller as needed for the specified flooring type. Dry - Set PSA (porous and non-porous substrate)
Spread adhesive using required tools.
After spreading the adhesive using the recommended trowel, wait 30-60 minutes for adhesive to flash off. When ready the adhesive will turn translucent and will not transfer to fingers/gloves.
Working time | |
12 hours depending on ambient conditions and porosity of the substrate.
Only apply as much adhesive as can be installed within a 12-hour period. Protect the adhesive from dust and debris, which will inhibit proper adhesive bond and decrease tack. Semi-Wet Set (sheeting adhesives only)
After spreading the adhesive using the recommended trowel, wait 15-25 minutes for adhesive to flash off.
Working time | |
20-30 minutes depending on ambient conditions and porosity of the substrate.
After installation, roll flooring during the working time of the adhesive.
For sheet goods | |
Roll from the center towards the perimeter to allow expelling of trapped air.
Check floor after 2 hours and roll again if necessary.
*** Wait 4-8 hours before wet mopping, stripping, or finishing the floor *** NOTE
Foot traffic may be permitted immediately when installing into dry adhesive. For installations into wet or semi-wet adhesive, allow 12 hours before traffic.
PRECAUTIONARY NOTE | |
THIS PRODUCT DOES NOT FORM A MOISTURE VAPOR BARRIER AND WILL NOT PROTECT FLOOR COVERING FROM HIGH MOISTURE AND PH
