Internet Minimum Advertised Pricing

Recent legislation now allows manufacturers to set minimum advertised prices on their products. Please note that this does not allow them to set minimum selling prices on their products. The government has decided to make this bold move in order to allow manufacturers to protect their brand image.

What does this mean for you as a consumer? Basically, all it means is that you will see higher prices being advertised on some floorcovering products across the internet. This should not make any difference in the price you will actually pay for these products, as this is still unregulated by manufacturers (not to mention illegal, by law).
