On September 17, 2014, Karndean Designflooring celebrated the beginning of its US headquarters expansion project with a groundbreaking ceremony. The expansion project will more than double the current size of the building, and it will enable the company to relocate offsite production activities to the new US facility. The new expansion will also create jobs at all levels of the organization, and the company expects to complete the expansion in one year.
Ed Perrin, the company’s Group CEO, said that the company bought this land in the hope that the company would continue to grow to the point where the land would be needed. He said that Karndean has now reached the goal of needing to use the land, which is used in this expansion, and he says that it is a testament to the ten years of dedication and hard work across the business.
