The innovative structure of this collection is what makes it such a durable, waterproof flooring option. The MgO Waterproof Composite Core will not swell or warp. The MgO core is made by mixing MgO, a mined mineral core, with water and Magnesium Chloride salt to provoke a chemical reaction when reaching a temperature of 40 degrees Celsius. This chemical reaction results in the formation of a rigid panel. Also, the high density mineral core offers indentation resistance and dimensional stability. This product has performed many tests on this product to assure that moisture has no effect.
In addition, this product has an UV Acrylic Finish. Therefore this finish provides stain resistance and makes the product easier to clean. After the UV Acrylic Finish is the genuine wood veneers. Underneath the wood veneers are the MgO Waterproof Composite Core and high density mineral core. At the very bottom of each plank is an attached cork underlayment. Lastly, the cork underlayment provides sound dampening and resists mold and mildew.
