  • Flex-Seam Premium Seam Bond is a solvent free sealer designed for seaming fiberglass sheet goods in full spread installations.

INSTRUCTIONS
1. Prepare flooring and seam according to IVC?s instructions.
2. Apply a small bead of FLEX-SEAM one edge of the fiberglass sheets to be seamed.
3.Then tuck the seam edges together.
4. Wipe off any excess seam bond with a clean damp cloth.
5. Roll the seam with a hand roller to squeeze out any remaining sealer from the seam.
6. Wipe down the seam with a clean damp cloth followed by a dry cloth.
7. Dried sealer can be removed with approved adhesive remover. Avoid soaking the flooring with solvent. Do not pour solvent directly onto flooring.
8. Protect the seam area for a minimum of 6 hours to allow the seam sealer to dry.

Freeze/thaw stable to 10F.
While this adhesive is freeze/thaw stable, it is still necessary to protect from freezing. Multiple freeze/thaw cycles below 10 F may irreversibly damage the adhesive.
Contains anti-microbial agents that will provide its dry film with protection from fungal growth. This protection is determined using the ASTM G21 test method.

Use soap and water while wet. Use Taylor Touchdown
9 Adhesive Remover/Stripper when dry.

Home deliveries generally run $50-90 more than terminal rates. Please remember, you are responsible for unloading home deliveries.

IMPORTANT

When you or your installer picks your order up from the shipping terminal, or if you receive a home delivery, visually inspect the packages, rolls, etc. for damage. If damage is seen on your package, write on the shipping bill of lading that the shipment is damaged, and immediately call your Carpet Express sales representative. If damage is not discovered until the goods are opened at home, immediately call the truck line and Carpet Express to report the concealed damage. Also be sure the number of packages and rolls exactly match the bill of lading. If you have any questions, please call Carpet Express, because once you have signed the bill of lading, you are saying that all goods were received, and the packages and rolls were in good shape.

Look before you cut! Inspect your carpet and vinyl rolls for visible defects before you cut your flooring for installation. If visible defects can be seen, please call the Carpet Express claims department immediately, before you begin installation.
