We are hopeful that these costs have peaked, but it will be some time before additional capacity comes on stream.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.carpetexpress.com\/products\/vinyl\/mannington_vinyl.htm\" target=\"_blank\">Armstrong<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.carpetexpress.com\/products\/vinyl\/congoleum_vinyl_flooring.html\" target=\"_blank\">Congoleum<\/a> and Tarkett remain uncertain as to whether or not they will follow Mannington\u2019s lead. David Sheehan, VP of resilient and laminate business, Mannington, expressed confidence in the market for vinyl.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 60px;\"><em>\u201cVinyl is fairing the best of all categories. If the consumer is buying, they\u2019re buying vinyl,\u201d he said. \u201cRaw materials, resin prices \u2014 the projection of their net impact is pretty significant.
