The crafting of Formica Laminate Flooring traces its roots back to an Austrian sawmill in 1897. Along the course of the next 100-plus years, lessons were learned, techniques were perfected and new ways to turn wood into beautiful floors evovled. In the late 1940s, woodworkers, engineers and machinists joined hands to give birth to the process that eventually would lead to Formica Laminate Flooring. Today, that perfected process provides homeowners with all the beauty of natural hardwoods and stones with many more advantages.
