Carpet Price Increase for June

Sighting escalating demand for petroleum driven products, the major carpet manufacturers continue their plans for price increases ranging from 4% to 10% on all residential and commercial carpet, rugs, and cushion/pad. Beaulieu will increase prices June 2nd, Shaw Industries June 9th, and Mohawk June 10th. UPDATE: There will be another price increase, effective July 10, 2008. These price increases are unfortunate, but necessary in the face of higher raw material and energy costs.
